Childcare

Child Care vouchers are available for eligible individuals
who are employed or in an accredited school program. The childcare
vouchers are funded through the Child Care Development Fund. Career
Choices Incorporated received the contract to deliver childcare vouchers
to persons in Vanderburgh, Posey, Perry, Spencer, Harrison and Washington
Counties. |

All families
applying for childcare vouchers must meet the following criteria:
- Must have
a service need (i.e. employment, accredited training/educational
program
- Must meet
income guidelines (i.e Gross family income cannot exceed 127%
of Federal Poverty Level)
- Must be
a resident of the county in which you are applying for vouchers
- Children
must be under the age of 13, though special needs children are
eligible through 18

can apply for childcare assistance by completing a waiting list information
sheet at the county offices or by calling Career Choices Incorporated
